Tate High School Art Building

  • Location:Cantonment, Florida
  • Size:2,700 sq. ft.
  • Cost:$700,000

Project Info:

In the fall of 2004, Hurricane Ivan destroyed Tate High School’s art building. What little remained of the existing building was removed to make way for a new three classroom art building to meet the growing needs of the largest high school in Escambia County. The new building blends in with the existing brick buildings on campus but introduces some creative flare in the coursing of the brick and the steel supporting the roof overhang at the entry doors, hinting at the creative function occurring inside.
