The new Sanctuary for Hillcrest Baptist Church provides the rapidly growing church community with a contemporary worship space that will accommodate the needs of the church for years to come. Seating over 1,800 people, the new Sanctuary includes a raised choir loft and a balcony on two sides, thus creating excellent site lines and intimacy in such a large space. The new building was completed in 2002 and also includes a choir rehearsal area, an administration area, support facilities, and a grand entrance lobby which connects all major church functions. Future phases include additional educational space, a family life center, and parking for 1,200 cars.
